As the Coronavirus outbreak continues, our thoughts are very much with all our customers at this challenging time. All our services currently remain operational and we are following the UK and Scottish Government guidelines for health and safety to ensure that we retain a safe environment for all. In what is a rapidly changing picture, we understand that clients will want to know our plans for ensuring continuity of service and contact information in order that we can continue to support you during the coming months. We are also making sure our staff are kept safe and such steps as are necessary to provide for this will be followed:
In all instances no customer to work team contact is necessary.
Tree work – Our tree surgery teams are still working; clients should observe the recommended spatial advice on site and make all communications via phone.
Firewood – If you are a regular customer we will deliver to the usual spot. We will request new customers to provide detailed delivery instructions.
Wood fuel – All deliveries will continue.
Tree surveys – Surveys will continue as usual.
We are in an unprecedented and challenging period, but please be assured our commitment to you will be paramount. Things may take a little longer and in that we ask you to bear with us. We will update as events evolve. Your safety and that of our workforce is of paramount importance. A very professional service commencing with a detailed survey of a substantial number of trees, reporting on their condition and providing a recommended management programme. The first phase of work included the removal of eight mature trees and trimming of others. The use of a high reach access platform, organising traffic management and council permits, and providing a comprehensive risk assessment was all part of the service.
Overall the work was carried out by a skilled team in a timely and cost effective manner. Each member of the team was pleasant and helpful, and a joy to work with. The site was completely cleared including pavements and street.
